“Learning and Growing in the Grace of God”
The overall Vision for our school is:
Children of Barlow Church of England Primary School feel valued, respected and cared for. They are kept safe, secure and are taught to deal with challenging situations in everyday life. The school promotes partnership with families, other schools, the Church, the local community and the wider world.
Our children have access to a broad and rich curriculum which includes promoting respect for nature and the environment, as well as the opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities.
Learning is an active, enjoyable, and creative process matched to individual needs.
Collective Worship is integral to the life of the school and our children are given opportunities to lead their own worship as well as actively participate.
Our Values allow us to deliver our overall Vision.
Underpinning the overall school approach are Christian values as shown through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We recognise that we are part of a community and we work as a team
Through nurturing talents and skills, we aim to develop confidence, self-esteem, happiness and well-being in our children
We promote awareness, understanding, respect and appreciation of alternative cultures, faiths and religions
We are all passionate about ensuring that our children are imbued with a life-long enthusiasm for learning and the on-going development of their life skills
We encourage our children to take pride in everything they do and persevere in reaching their goals.
