The following information is only for Year 1 parents:
White Rose Maths will be charging for their premium resources (the worksheets) from Monday 4th May. You are able to purchase a subscription if you wish through their website.
However, Power Maths, the scheme we use to support the Mastery approach to Maths in school, have offered us the choice of an Ebook which will bridge the Summer Term, with enough material if schools remain closed. You have also been given the option to purchase a paper copy, subsidised by school for £3 per book by Wednesday 29th April.
You can still purchase a copy directly from White Rose Maths to be delivered to your home here.
The books are organised with a 'Discover' page - designed to open discussion and thinking around the picture and questions followed by a 'Share' which looks at the Maths behind the questions (you may want to cover this page when you're looking at the Discover together). This is then followed by 2 pages of questions.
The White Rose videos will soon be matched to the BBC Bitesize materials and will also support the units in the Power Maths Summer term Home Learning book if your child needs further support with a unit or further questions and thinking to understand. You'll be able to pause the video and think through the questions.
To support and stretch further, in each update page I will attach sheets from Third Space Learning linked to that's week White Rose topic.
For Reception, we will continue to offer you the use of either the Oak National Academy lessons or you can continue to follow the videos and activities linked to stories offered by the White Rose team.
I will also select open ended investigations from NRich to support you further at home - these are in addition to the links and ideas above for those of you who would like to have more.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
