Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of statutory age from low-income families who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) in both mainstream and non-mainstream settings.  It is also allocated to children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months and to children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.   Since 2012-2013, pupil premium has also been allocated to children who have been eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (this is known as the Ever Six FSM Measure).

Schools are free to spend their Pupil Premium allocation as they see fit, however, we are held accountable for how we have used this additional funding to support those pupils of low-income families.
