Phonics

Phonics are key to supporting the children in becoming confident independent readers. Children in EYFS and KS1 are supported in their phonics learning through use of Read, Write, Inc.

Spelling

Children in year 1- 6 will bring home a spelling list each week linked to specific letter patterns and including some high frequency words. These will be worked on in class as well and tested on a weekly basis.
