Precision Teach
Precision Teaching is an activity undertaken with one child at a time and enables us to target a child’s specific reading or spelling needs. It involves short one or two minute tasks that build skills by practising them regularly. It develops children's fluency and rapid recall of words or numbers. Each session, the children help to plot their progress on a grid and set a target for the next time to improve on their previous score.
