If your child is finding the independent tasks are quick to finish these are the 'Deeper' learning questions designed by Power Maths for your child to try. There are only a few per unit but they offer a good degree of challenge. The answers are included in the Maths Answers page here
If you would like a further challenge to look at with your child outside of the Maths lessons you are welcome to use NRich - they provide a variety of open-ended, challenging Maths problems to choose from that your child may be able to work on independently or with your support.
These activities are based around Addition and Subtraction, pitched at either Year 1 or Year 2 and these are based around Multiplication and Division.
For Reception the White Rose Maths is developed to take the children into a deep level of thinking about number, it's representations and applications. If your child would like further challenges the NRich site offers a range of deeper thinking tasks you could work through with your child. Also take a look at Topmarks for good interactive games for you to try.
