English:
Learning Objective: Rewriting the setback in the story Little Red Riding Hood.
Recap on the elements of a traditional tale from Monday's lesson. Then recap the versions of Little Red Riding Hood in which we have read.
This lesson we are going to be focusing on the setback. This is where something has held the story back. For example, the wolf eating Grandma.
I might write something along the lines of:
The sneakily, greedy wolf ran ahead to Grandma's house and gobbled Grandma up in one go!
He then disguised himself as Grandma by putting her
clothes on. He was hoping to trick Little Red Riding Hood and eat her too.
You need to include the Wolf meeting Grandma and what the Wolf does the Grandma.
You could also write about what happened when Little Red Riding Hood got there, don't got further than the setback. As we'll write about the solution in tomorrow's lesson. For example, "Why Grandma what big ears you have?" "All the better the hear you with my dear!"
Include all three: big ears, big eyes and sharp teeth.
Don't forget to use capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and your neatest writing!
Year One - To write the setback using different adjectives.
Year Two - To write the setback using 2a sentences.
