This week, we are practising finding the meaning of words.

Y4, your sheet is focussed on the word good.  Can you match each sentence with a different meaning of the word good? 

e.g.   4. good- safe

Y3, you need to read the sentences, look at the word in bold and decide which is the correct meaning.  Be careful - because all the words have more than 1 meaning so you can only work out the right one by reading the sentence.

Today, we are going to practise our writing skills.  On the lesson online with Mrs Watkin, we are going to look at this picture and practise writing some sentences together.

When the live session has finished, your independent task is to write a paragraph about the picture below.  

Then maybe add a couple more sentences to finish your story off.

Maths

Today's Maths lesson can be found in your text book and practice book.  Both are allocated to you on Active learn. Just click on the power maths tab then find textbook 4b or 3b.  Mrs Watkin will be teaching Y4 at 10:30 and Y3 at 11:15 live online.  Join us to go through the text book section together then complete your practice book independently and upload a photo of your work.

Computing

This term, we are going to start learning about Scratch programming.  Today, ask your grown up if you can download the free scratch programme and watch the tutorial.  Then have some fun experimenting with the programme.
