Please have your notes from yesterday's lesson ready with you. Your independent task today is to choose a character from the list and write a 'message to mankind' in role as that character. You should explain how human behaviour has affected your life.
You will have a live lesson input on this at 9am. Please make sure you have a paper and pen/pencil to write down your ideas.
BIG Maths: Practise your timestables using Multiplication Monster on Purple Mash, or try some of these other games.
Choose a skill you need to practise on Daily ten. Y5 use level 5. Y6, use level 6. If you find it too easy or too hard, adjust to the next level up or down. Allow yourself at least 15 seconds to jot down your answers or choose manual if you need more time.
Practise your times table skills using multiplication skills on Purple Mash.
Practise your quickfire addition skills on hit the button. Choose number bonds and doubles.
Try RangeArranger and choose to include decimals to place in order.
Practise finding fact families by playing Number Fact Families.

PHSE: The value for this half term is 'friendship'. I have set you a 2do task on Purple Mash to write an advert for a friend. Think carefully about the qualities you look for in a friend and add them to the description.
Spelling 'Homework'
I have set your spelling quiz on Purple Mash. You are to practise these spellings and have a go at completing the dictation task. There will not be a weekly spelling test/dictation at the moment but I will monitor your scores on the Purple Mash spelling quiz that you complete.
