Learning Objective: Rewriting the ending to Jack and the Beanstalk
In today's lesson we are going to be writing the ending to our stories! What happens in the ending of Jack and the Beanstalk?
Thinking about the ending to my story, I might write something along the lines of:
“Come back with my harp!” shouted the giant.
Miss Mawby quickly ran down the beanstalk. The giant followed her!
But Mrs Wilson was standing there at the bottom with an axe!
She chopped down the beanstalk.
So that was the end of the beanstalk and Miss Mawby, Mrs Bye and Mrs Wilson had all the food they needed.
They lived happily ever after!
You need to include if you got chased down the beanstalk and who saved the day!
Year One and Two - To write the ending to your story, including story language.
