Maths:
Year 6: The live Maths lesson will start at 9.30am. Today we will be revisiting your independent work from yesterday ( lesson 11 page 94 onwards and the end of unit check). Have your book and answers ready to go over during the live lesson- this was a tricky lesson and if you didn't manage to get some of the answers, don't worry, this is why we're going through it together.
There will be no independent practice book work today, instead you should complete the sheet below on a mixture of algebra questions.
Year 5: The live Maths lesson will start at 10.30am. We will be doing Lesson 5 Unit 10 Fractions (3) Complete the pages from your practice book and self mark your work, correcting any errors the best you can.
English: In today's live lesson at 8.45am, you will be looking at screen 8 of the e book Blood. Your independent task after this lesson is to imagine you are an explorer and you have had an encounter with one of the blood-sucking creatures you have read about in the e book.
Task: Create a fictional recount of what happened.
Remember to include:
-first person narrative
-A metaphor - ( my blood ran cold)
-Alliteration - ( blasted beasts)
