Next week would be our May half term holiday so i'm not setting any work for you to do. I'd like you to enjoy being outside as much as possible and have lots of fun with your family. There are still the following activities that you can do if you have some time:
Maths: Continue with any ongoing 2dos on Purple Mash. If you have a Power Maths Home learning book, you can continue with some of the pages in there. If you want something a bit different, try the Guardians Mathematica game on BBC bitesize.
English: Continue reading for pleasure. Check out the book recommendations from your classmates if you are ready to start a new book. You could also write your own book recommendation on Purple Mash and i'll be sure to share it on the class page for others to see.Remember, you have access to lots of ebooks on Active Learn too.
Science: You have been allocated lots of Science activities on Active Learn to do with Forces. Look back through the weekly updates and have a go at some of the investigations- from paper spinners to sail boats, there's lots to do!
Topic/Physical activity:Based on our topic about the Olympics, I challenge you to plan, organise and deliver your very own mini Olympic Games. Think about the opening ceremony, the medals, the events, how to score points etc. Use your mini leader and bronze ambassador training to help organise a fantastic event for your family. I'd love to see some pictures of this or hear about it on the blog! Use ideas from our Art and DT page to make some resources to add to your event. For some ideas to get started, take a look at this link.
Computing: I have set you a couple of fun 2dos on Purple Mash. One is 2animate, where you can create your own animation and another is 2Quiz, where you can create a quiz for friends or family to solve. Perhaps you could create a quiz for me to do? Or for your friends in Sapphire class? It can be to do with any topic you like but perhaps you could link it to some of your learning too.
Have a lovely week everyone and i'll look forward to hearing about what you've been up to.
