In the live lesson today, we are focussing on prepositions that answer the question where or when. On active learn, we will be using the activity 'position the preposition' as well as practising writing some sentences using these prepositional phrases.
Use the preposition matching game below:
Play the game with an adult following the instructions on page one (print out the cards). Then write down the best four sentences you came up with between you. Remember, if your sentence starts with a prepositional phrase, you will need a comma.
Choose 4-8 of the prepositions and objects on the cards and use them to write sentences using prepositional phrases. Remember, if your sentence starts with a prepositional phrase, you will need a comma.
Today's Maths lesson can be found in your text book and practice book.
Live lessons: Y4 at 10:30 and Y3 at 11:15 live online.
Join us to go through the text book section together then complete your practice book independently.
