“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Barlow Church of England School believes each individual has a voice to be valued and talents to be nurtured. We all strive to grow in wisdom together to enable each person to be their best possible self.
Our school values are: Generosity, Service, Courage, Perseverance,
and Forgiveness
Our values are represented on a hand to make it easy for children to remember. The children have chosen the five Christian values they consider to be the most important as our core values. Each week, we celebrate a child in each class who has demonstrated one more of these values. They receive a special values certificate at our celebration assembly.
We recognise that we are part of a community and we work as a team
Through nurturing talents and skills, we aim to develop confidence, self-esteem, happiness and well-being in our children
We promote awareness, understanding, respect and appreciation of alternative cultures, faiths and religions
We are all passionate about ensuring that our children are imbued with a life-long enthusiasm for learning and the on-going development of their life skills
We encourage our children to take pride in everything they do and persevere in reaching their goals.
