What Does Africa Mean to You?
- Write down a word (or words) that come to your mind when you think of Africa. Discuss with a family member or friend what Africa means to them and compare what you have thought of.
-Can you locate Africa on a map? Use Google maps, the internet or an atlas to find where Africa is.
- Use the mapping Africa sheet to add on the different features.
-Read through the lesson presentation to find out more about the history of Africa and then sort the events using this resource in chronological ( time ) order. Now can you sort these into order of importance in your opinion?
- You will need to learn lots of new words to do with Benin. Use the vocabulary matching sheet to link the words to their meanings. Why not play Benin bingo? Follow the instructions on the lesson presentation.
