Year 6: The live Maths lesson will start at 9.30am. We will be going through your work from yesterday's lesson to check that you understand how to convert fractions to decimals. Do not complete the next page of your practice book ( page 21-23 lesson 6)because you will not have had the input. Instead, consolidate your skills by completing the lesson from the Oak Academy. by following this link here.

Year 5: The live Maths lesson will start at 10.30. We will be doing Lesson 10 Unit 7. Complete the pages from your practice book and self mark your work, correcting any errors the best you can.

English: In today's live lesson at 8.45am, you will be recapping on the spelling pattern 'ough'. You have a spelling quiz on Purple Mash to complete that tests your understanding of this spelling rule. After your live lessons, complete the following activities:
1.Find and highlight 'ough' words by completing this online task here.
2. You have been allocated a game to practise 'ough' words on Active Learn. Have a go at completing this game.
3. Choose either the word search or the crossword to complete ( see the documents below). If you don't have a printer, just write the answers to the crossword down on a piece of paper.
BIG Maths: Practise your timestables using Multiplication Monster on Purple Mash, or try some of these other games.
Choose a skill you need to practise on Daily ten. Y5 use level 5. Y6, use level 6. If you find it too easy or too hard, adjust to the next level up or down. Allow yourself at least 15 seconds to jot down your answers or choose manual if you need more time.
Practise your times table skills using multiplication skills on Purple Mash.
Practise your quickfire addition skills on hit the button. Choose number bonds and doubles.
Try RangeArranger and choose to include decimals to place in order.
Practise finding fact families by playing Number Fact Families.

PHSE: Friendship- Continuing with out friendship school value this half term, I would like you to consider ways in which you could welcome new friends into school:
1. Watch Ashley's story on the video by following this link
2.Have a think about the following questions:
-How would you feel if you were moving home or school?
-What would you find hard?
3. How is Ashley feeling? Use the feelings chart to choose some suitable words to describe her feelings.
4.Make a list of ways in which you could make a new child in your class feel welcome and comfortable.
