Phonics:
Please use this link to access the phonics lessons for your child. There are several parts for each year group, all of which we would like the children to complete. These are best done daily, but we understand if you do these at a time in that day that is appropriate for you and your child.
Reception: The children should be able to recognise set 1 sounds rapidly now. Please work on rapid reading of green and red words and spelling activities. Set 1 lessons: Word Time Reading Lesson, Spelling Lesson and Red Words .
Year One: Set 3 lessons: Speed Sounds, Set 3 Spelling, Reading Longer Words, Red Words 2 and Read and Hold a Sentence 1.
Year Two: Complete the worksheet, by clicking here and complete ONE per day.

Year 1 and 2: Your Maths lessons can be found in your text book and practice book. Both are allocated to you on Active learn.

Today we are going to focus on screen 2 and 3. Then look at the following questions:
What is the chocolate expert explaining?
How does he explain this?
What features does he use to help him?
Independent Activity
Complete the Cacao bean captions explaining to someone who doesn't know the process.
There is no expectation to print the storyboard, you can draw you own pictures in your exercise book and then write your captions below.
Art
In this lesson, we will think about what it means to be 'good' at drawing. We will experiment with mark making in our sketch book and use a variety of media; pencils, crayons, pastels, felt tips and chalk to begin to explore the different outcomes these tools create.
