English: During today's live lesson at 8.45am, you will have had chance to share your ideas for how your story will end. Using your notes from the lesson, write you final paragraph to end your story. Remember to:
-Bring the story back to the present day in the zoo.
-Make it clear how your character has ended up being in the zoo.
-Make a direct link to your opening paragraph ( choose a word/phrase/object to refer to that was in the story opening)
- Include a human character from the flashback part of the story who features in the present day in the zoo and explain how they have ended up being in the zoo too- do they work there? Are they are visiting?
-End strongly- continue to focus on quality sentences, not quantity. There is nothing worse than a disappointing ending that is rushed or 'fizzles out'.
Next week, part of your home learning task will be to edit and improve your story and write/type it up neatly. I am hoping to put your wonderful work together to make a class collection for us all to enjoy when we are all back in school.
