LO: I can express my own views about the ways Christians spirituality is expressed in the arts
Just as last week, the children will be using tracing paper (baking paper will work or a similar type of translucent paper). Using bold dark lines they will first map out their stained glass window then go over these with a black pen to make them stand out strongly. Choosing colours to create emotional impact they will use felt pens to decorate their images of the Nativity as if they are looking through a panel in stained glass window. We will then combine these for display of Christmas.
Reflect on the images and listen to examples of Christian song that reflect the spiritual mood of the Nativity. Encourage the children to reflect on their views of Art and Spirituality.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
